This is a good point. It really doesn't matter whether or not the draft limit is raised, what MATTERS is that there is a THREAT that it will be raised. And the THREAT of it being raised means that yes, the Tiago Splitters WILL come out this year, whether they're ready or not. There will be fewer NBA-ready lottery picks this year than maybe EVER BEFORE. Next year's Rookie of the Year will probably be somebody who isn't even one of the first ten or so picks, in other words. Dwayne Wade, maybe? This kid is a PLAYER--I really didn't understand how incredibly good he is until yesterday vs. UK (my alma mater)--but he's a 6'4" SG, and fellas, big guys ALWAYS get drafted before 6'4" SGs.
