2009 draft
Im sick of this years draft.
Is there a sure thing in next years draft? A lock Lebron/Howard like talent?
I hear a lot about Blake Griffin
And this Ricky Rubio, but the kid is 17, and looks like hes 13.

I don't think it's going to be as top heavy with freshmen as this year's draft is. Regarding some of this year's college players, Griffin's definitely going to be up there (if not at the top) and Thabeet, Clark and Harden are surefire lottery picks. Still have to wait and see what kind of impact some of the freshman are going to make next year, but right now I'm real high on Brandon Jennings.

howard was no sure thing. so he's not someone to really mention.
but no next year does not have a lebron/oden/duncan type sure thing. that could always change during the season though.

Ah I completely forgot about Thabeet.. Good to hear he's coming out next year, maybe the Heat can steal him..

DeRozan has the athletic ability and talent to be a future NBA all-star. His development next year will go a long way in determining just how good he could be. BJ Mullens will be a high pick next year also. He is big, can rebound, score, block shots, and is a freak athlete for a 7 footer. The college guys are underwhelming. No offense to Griffin but if he is in contention to be the number one pick it's a down year for the draft. Not to say he couldn't be good but he isn't as good as a lot of other # 1's who have been drafted recently.

Is it me, or is it such a downer when its just a bunch of "meh"
I love at least when you have 2 monster prospects to debate over. I think a lot of people are apathetic to Beasley
