He will play for about 15 years, and win 14 titles, 12 MVP's and put up stats that relative to his era are so enormously dominant that the league will attempt to alter the rules to help create more parity in the NBA, but it won't be possible. A player so utterly dominant that the game will forever be changed.

This thread is pretty ridiculous. Derozan isn't anywhere near as good as Kobe was coming out of high school. Not even close. Kobe was insanely athletic and insanely skilled. Derozan is athletic. He's not even close to as good as Vince Carter was coming out of high school, from what I've seen of him. He should be the #1 pick if he proves a LOT over the next year. Not because someone, somewhere compares him to someone good. Hell, Byron Houston was compared to Charles Barkley--it didn't mean he was deserving of being the #1 pick.
He will definitely have 1 year of great coaching at USC from Floyd, so he should be prepared for what to expect in the NBA and what he needs to do to be a superstar.
Demar Derozan reminds me a lot more like Jason Richardson then anything else. Except he can jump off of both 1 foot and 2 feet for dunking. So that being said, I WANT DEMAR ON THE TIMBERWOLVES!:smoothcriminal:
