Babbitt, Hayward, Leuer or Hummel

How would you rank the 4 as far as NBA stock??
To me its:
1. Jon Leuer... adding weight has really helped him, and already looked pretty good against strong competition, Due to his size now can play PF at the next level
2. Gordon Hayward... The youngest of the 4 and probably the best pure shooter, needs to prove that he can handle the ball well enough to play SF
3. Luke Babbitt... Has more of an NBA game than the others but probably isnt as skilled and doesnt have the BBall IQ of them
4. Robbie Hummel... excellent college player who has a very high BBall IQ, also only 20 years old still but hasnt really improved since his FR campaign and is a little bit slow to guard NBA guys

Re: Babbitt, Hayward, Leuer or Hummel

Hype can just roll into a ball. The stuff here can go somewhere else, and then hit the draft websites, and then hit Chad Ford, and then hit GM's, and finally build up enough hype for a kid to declare for the draft. I guess Leuer broke his wrist, so he probably won't bolt.

Re: Babbitt, Hayward, Leuer or Hummel

Bet fjdski is rethinking his Hummel comments now. I always thought of him as Ryan Anderson like, cept he's a better ball handler and has better court vision.

Re: Babbitt, Hayward, Leuer or Hummel

Hummel is a 3 right? He's a bench player at that position. If he could play the 2, he could be valuable. Hayward seems similar. Babbitt is a great player and seems like a solid 3. Leuer is a 4 man all the way.

I like Babbitt the most.

Re: Babbitt, Hayward, Leuer or Hummel

Yup he's definitely a 3, I think he's 6'8. He has the ball handling skills to play the 2, but he cant guard either position effectively.

Didnt see most of the game, but it seems he was on fire from 3, he was due for one those as his shot has been streaky this season. Ryan Anderson is 610, Hummel is more like poor mans Dunleavy

Re: Babbitt, Hayward, Leuer or Hummel

I am comparing their situations. Some team will draft Hummel late and then realize this kid can really play.

Re: Babbitt, Hayward, Leuer or Hummel

I like Hummell a lot on the college scene but for the NBA I'd take Babbitt or L***r. Didn't want to upset Nim anymore than he already is.
