sagana diop is not a bust...yet..he barely played at all yet. You cant tell if any of the picks last year or the year before are busts yet..cause they havent fulfilled there potential, Look at Ricky davis
I think last years bust was Steven Hunter, I know he was supposed to go second round or undrafted but he got drafted in the first round for some reason played good minutes for a while then was benched for the rest of the season.

I really hope this place lasts a long time, because this is one quote I totally intend to bring back up when the time is right.

Even players that come out of high-school can play better than he did. McGrady averaged 7 ppg in his first year, Garnett averaged 10, Kobe averaged 7. Kwame got around 3 and he shot like 38% fg. If he is going to be any type of superstar, wouldn't he at least be an average or a little below-average player his rookie year? He was just bad.

With all of these high school players entering the draft, you can't tell if your investment has been a bust or not for atleast 2-3 years.
True a lot, though they show massive potential, would still be classified 'projects' because of the time it takes to develop them
kwame brown sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a wizards fan I hope this is a statement that I will reget later.
To put in the the words of the immortal "Bill Walton" Kwame was
"HORRIBLE!!!"
Steven Hunter didn't get much minutes but just wait untill this upcomming season before you call him a bust because the Magic really are counting on him to become a quality player for years to come. Give the guy time, don't judge him just yet.
Kwame Brown should have done better, with Michael Jordan on his team taking pressure way from him he should really have tooken advantage of that and proven what he's made out of, I still think he'll be good to come though.

Any more, if a player isn't 18, and don't contribute right away, they are available for the bust tag. You've gotta give Hunter three or four more years before you make a judgement on him. Give him until he's at least 24. There are a lot of great players that don't start playing well until that age that go to college for four years. He actually has shown a lot so far. He could be a very good player.
I think last year's bust will end up being Shane Battier. The guy is just not going to be worth the number 6 pick in the end. They should expect more than 12 PPG, 6 RPG from the 6th overall, which right now would be my estimate as to his career numbers.

I've got to disagree. It is true that when drafting a player you should be getting a player that stats are better than 12 and 6. But, not Shane Battier. I know you're going to hate this, but the guys going to make for a great leader. He'll put his heart and sole on the court, and his defense should be near the top in the league. He's a hustle guy that has a good head on his shoulders and in all likelihood won't miss time for off the court incidences. He should provide solid stats as 12 and 6 is pretty decent, but it's the other things that he brings to the court that makes him a great ballplayer.
I think that Kwame will end up as a Jermaine O'Neal look-a-like. A PF with Allstar potential.
Curry has already shown that he has a knack for scoring and his shot-selection is also ok. He could be a very decent center for years to come.
Chandler will be a superstar. No doubt about it. I am not Bulls fan whatsoever. I have to admit that I am even enjoying their struggles, but this guy could be very very good.
The biggest bust will be:
Sasser
Hutson
Diop
