Sharif Abdur-Rahim

I was just wondering if Any of you had some thoughts on who would need him. My Blazers want to trade him, and we in the Blazer forum have thrown around some names. I was hoping to get some different opinions. What teams have a need for a 27 year old power forward that has just under a 20/10 average for his career. Give some names to come back. Portland wants a shooting guard badly. What do you all think might be fair?

Given Zbo's unwillingness to play defense, you still wanna trade him?

Odd.

Off the top of my head, teams that need or may need a PF for next season ...

Atlanta (if no Kenyon)
Cleveland
LA Lakers
Miami (if Odom, Grant lost for Shaq)
New Jersey (if no Kenyon)
Seattle

Not a lot to trade for from those teams though. Kittles, Eddie Jones, some sort of Flip Murray package -- nothing to really blow you away.

Odd.

Yes I know. New York would be awful with Zach. He sucks. All 21 year old power forwards are solid defensive players, and ALL of them average 20/10 in the best league in the world.

He may not be the best defensive player, but he brings effort every game. Sort of a Kurt Thomas with skills

That was really Funny!

You made up a comparision because your feelings got hurt!

So funny!

Hey maybe next time Zbo and Qyntel can hold you down and punch you!

I think that Portland should keep Shareef, and move DMiles to the SG position.

One on one, even one on two, when the guy they call the Answer is on a one-way trip to the basket, you better just foul him. People can hate all day about the number of shot attempts. But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"

Send him to Miami for Eddie Jones.

I have to think Cleveland is going to have to make a big push for a PF in order to keep the fans of the Cavs happy. Everyone there is pissed at Booz right now but once the season starts the only way to keep them happy is to give them a real reason to keep on hating boozer. They need to go after someone who can make some sort of impact at PF. THey improved by getting Jackson and they already have Lebron so they are starting to pick up there roster.
