Pretty much the same things we've had to tell the guys in the Laker board. One guy wanted Odom and Wade (and filler) and thought that would be a fair deal. haha, rising stars for over the hill out of shape shaq who hasn't won in 3 years? Laker fans should be jumping on this deal. Odom looked pretty good last year.

Laker fans crack me up. They want to turn this into Bulls v. Lakers. Do I think the Bulls are gonna be great? No. Do I think they'll be decent and the Lakers will blow @ss next season? Yes.
The point is not the comparative stance of the two franchises. The point is my viewing of my team being more realistic than your viewing of yours.

i seriously hope you're joking, or else you might need to put in the looney bin. Does anyone want to start a bet here on who will have the better record next year, lakers or bulls? You stay in that crap conference called the East and we'll still have a better record than you guys. The only way we dont is if we lose BOTH kobe AND shaq AND the players we get for shaq get hurt.
As for the miami deal....ill take Grant, Odom, Butler, and a 1st. But without Butler i dont do the deal. If they want i'd even throw in other people if we have a chance at getting Wade but i dont think they'd trade them. The scenarios are simple, either this Miami trade gets done or the first team to offer Dirk, O'neal, or Wade will win.

You aren't getting Butler AND a first. It's Butler OR two firsts. I'm predicting a 36 win season for the Bulls....I'm predicting 30 wins for LA. Because they are basically trading Shaq for nothing if they do this deal. Grant is an albatross far beyond the prime he ever had. Odom was not the reason Miami excelled.....it was Wade. Butler has no knees.
Also......why does Miami care what LA wants....or did you miss the part where they know that LA has until Wednesday to do a deal or risk losing Kobe.

If Lakers got only 25 wins with Kobe, Odom and Grant,
Kobe is the closest thing to MJ my A$$!

we'd be closer to 50 wins than 30 with Grant, Kobe, Odom, Butler, Payton, maybe Malone, maybe Fisher. And why not have it be Caron and a 1st instead of just 2 firsts and no caron? The 1st rounders are only going to be in the lower end of the 1st round anyway so its not like they have much value. I doubt Odom and Grant alone match up salaries with Shaq. And i also doubt the lakers do the trade unless its Butler and a 1st. But who knows.

Because basically ALL WORD from ALL SOURCES say that LA is fine with Grant, Odom and either:
Butler
or
two first rounders
And that they've pretty much already accepted and are waiting on Miami to choose.
