Either way, it is pretty stupid to argue this now since there are so many IFs involved with both teams.
I appreciate the argument. I dont appreciate being called homer.

Hey I apologise for calling you a homer, but you have to admit, some Magic fans are getting over their heads these days. I've seen Magic fans thinking they're still going to win the division after the Shaq trade, and let's be serious, deepest team in the league?

Well, winning the division was a remote possibility before the Shaq deal. And although some dont think Wade, Jones, Shaq, and crap are enough to win, I am not one of them. I realize as do most that Orlando winning the division now is more than remote.
Every team has people that are too optimistic about their team during the offseason. Doesnt mean everyone that is fan or talks about that team is a homer.
And although I think Orlando is much deeper this year and depending on how their rooks play could be potentially one of the deeper teams in the league, obviously there are at least a half-dozen teams far deeper.

Whoa, how are the Magic all of the sudden a playoff team? They'll probably win 25-30 games unless Hill comes back very strong.

OMG, people are so overrating the Magic right now. Saying the Magic is the deepest in the league is like saying Houston is the best team in the league. Some would agree with you but there is San Antonio, Minnesota, Detroit, etc. in the front. With the depth issue, you have Detroit, Sacramento, Memphis, etc. Orlando is not the deepest team in the league just as I accept Houston is not the best team in the league. (Though we did take a huge step forward).

Detroit is the deepest team in the league. That's why they're champs. Rasheed could set the bench with foul trouble all those finals games and it didn't really hurt them that much.

And they just signed Carlos Delfino. IMO they are hands down the deepest team in the league. And if McDyess is actually somewhat healthy ... damn ...

You've got to be kidding. We won 21 last year with a MUCH worse team. There's no way were only winning 25. It ain't happening.
And Hill is already healthy.

I'd have to say Miami.
Miami is probably the deepest team in the league. Just look at the schematics. Well, San Antonio, and Dallas are probably close, but I think Miami has em. Florida, Americas penis, is pretty damn south of every other team in the league. Damn right.

If Shaq gets injured, Miami will play like America's butt.

More shot attempts = better FG%?
I understand the concept of fast-break bastketball supposedly giving you better looks, layups, etc, but along with that comes more shot attempts as well. Plus, in a fast-break game your fatigue is tested as well, so their legs might not be under them when taking jump shots late in the game.
Basically, all I'm saying is that there's no guarantee that an up-tempo style is going to translate into a better FG% for Francis and/or Mobley.

If Hill is the Hill of 99, then they could win 35-45, but thats highly unlikely. I wouldnt even count on him at all based on his previous attempts at coming back failing miserably.
Magic will probably win 25-30, thats just being real. The didnt get an impact player in the draft (Howard is a project), and they didnt get better with the McGrady trade.
I'd agree with you if they drafted Okafor.
