Shaq is Greedy??? The man has single handley took the Lakers to four finals in five years and won three of them. All he asked is the Offense be ran through him and an lil extension and the Lakers can't give him that? So whats the thanks that Shaq and Phil get after bring the Lakers a few titles, Shown the door by Buss and Mitch, so they can keep that little pompous jerk, overrated jordan wannabe sonofa***** (Kobe) happy. Kobe is the greedy one. He wants to get paid the most, he wants to take the most shots but wont deliver the rings like Shaq can. Watch Miami win a few titles in a row. Wade and Eddie will learn to appreciate Shaq and will have zero problems giving him the ball when he wants it.

Why not?
You always want to think about the future of your team right?
If it's for the better of the franchise, I'm all for it.

But only if the Clippers agree to play 10-12 home games closer to my house. Give me a freakin break, this is the guy that just shot the Lakers out of 2 or 3 of the games in the NBA Finals.

Your way off Kobe hater.
As for EHL, I have know about Shaq's greed for a long, long time.

Did you even read the first post?
It also doesn't help that each and every one of your posts attacks Kobe.

I can't call it greed. Why? Shaq gives a higher percentage of his money to charity than anyone in the league. He is WELL KNOWN for showing up to a CELEBRITY charity function and doubling the entire pot of what ALL THE CELEBRITIES have donated. At that rate.....if he can make 100 million a year GOOD.....because the man does great things with his money. I say DAMN GOOD that he takes it from rich white men and gives it to the poor and needy.
The Big Robin Hood?

Ya whatever, you are just making stuff up again. No player makes it public how much money they give to charity.
There is no way to know how much Shaq gives to charity.

Many players give to charity. Yet they don't seem to need as much money as Shaq to do so.

Hey I never said this belief was wrong....I'm just saying let's call a spade a spade. I am right about why LA fans care more about Kobe right?

Yes, but that's because we Laker fans believe keeping Kobe is for the better.

Even with Shaq giving that much to charity, he still has enough for the rest of his and his kids' kids' lives.

Shaq is always doing something for the L.A. community. Whether it's charity, or going to the hood to hand out Christmas presents to the less fortunate kids or having basketballcamps he does alot for the community. He also does alot for the neigborhood he grew up in. I never seen or heard Kobe doing things like that. Knowing that he's an arrogant stuck up *******, this shouldn't suprise me.

Yeah, that's great and everything, but does he really need that much more money?

In my mind no player should make more than 10 million a year in any sport.

Also, how about Kobe Bryant taking 1 hour presentations from other teams that are supposed to show why they need him? Kobe was probably sitting on his throne laughing during these presentations.
I can't believe how many Shaq-bashers there are in LA. He wants out of LA, then all of the sudden Lakers fans see the Shaq that the rest of the world sees. If Kobe Bryant leaves, I'd think Lakers fans would start trashing Kobe Bryant as well, but Kobe seems to have hypnotized Lakers fans into loving him no matter what happens.
|
First off, that news that Kobe is requesting the Clippers play 10-12 home games in Anaheim is just BS. Who knows if that is true or not. I highly doubt Kobe would make that kind of request. Stein or somebody brought this up last year, just assuming that Kobe would LOVE to have a shorter commute time. Its probably media bs, so save your time.
2nd. Kobe is just listening to other teams, Incase you forgot, big free agents usually get important front office people knocking on their doors at 12:01AM the day free agency opens.
Big FA's in years past like Duncan, Mcgrady, etc all have had teams roll out the red carpet and show up on their doorstep, and throw the whole package at them.
This is a big decision for Kobe and he is listening, what do you expect?? You expect him to hop on a plane and fly all over the country visiting teams??
Whats with the double standard here?
Just save it.

Yes I know that. And the REASON you believe its for the better is because he's 25 and not 32. Can you tell me you'd pick Kobe if Kobe was 32 and Shaq 25?

Yeah this is relevant how? Is he under a burden to give so much that his kids will be poor? What has Kobe ever given back to the community? I'd say Kobe needs to "impwoove" (Kobe can't pronounce "R"s so he pronounces "improve" "imwoove" and makes that stupid vacuum scrunch face)
