If Shaq does go to Miami..who will be following after him?
If Shaq does go to Miami..who will be following after him?
He'll be a sure lock to attract some quality players under their normal price, i hear from someone else here at the boards that Toni Kukoc of the bucks is goin cos he'll be a quality bench player and a brilliant passer to Shaq.
I think if Toni does leave the Bucks, itll be sad to see him go but itll be a good move it gives him another chance at a title before he retires soon.
Miami with Shaq, Toni, Dwayne Wade, Eddie Jones and whoever happens to jump aboard sounds good to me.
ANyone hear of any other players wanting to go to Miami.

They'll certainly get a couple of players. I read like a half-dozen things today about all sorts of different guys saying stuff like "Yeah, Miami looks like a good option." Everyone knows that the Diesel is still the man.

Well said jnice Shaq is still the most dominant force in the nba. Miami is getting a bargain,
--> Briant gant --> over paid --> heat feeling thankgod getting rid of his overpaying contract...
--> Odom-->pple sayen Shaq is injury prone now lol look at Odom his injury prone --> Miami thinken thank god were getting rid of him.
--> Caron Butler a good young player but had a bad season of last ---> miami is thinking lets start off fresh.
Looks like a bargain for Shaq --> Especially for a team in the East.
The only problem is that the Heat might become a lesser version of the Lakers, in which case, do they still beat Indiana or Detroit next year. Very hard to say.
Well said real mccoy but thats why i think if miami get a leader like Toni kukoc and a good team player pg like damon jones that they might avert going that direction, okay hopefully with no Kobe around no more problems with shaq and hopefully Shaq will take D Wade under his wings and help him become the superstar player his becoming. Along with a leader and unselfish players like toni and d jones u cant go wrong i think.

Shaq missed 15 games last season, while Odom only missed 2. Shaq misses games because of small injuries, while it takes more than that for Odom to sit out.

You still have to worry about Shaq getting jealous of Wade's star burning bright. My hope is this doesn't stunt Wade's career because let's be honest, Shaq has two years left max and then out the door. He better not stunt Wade's game.
He didn't get along with Penny or Kobe, let's see if Wade starts shining will he be happy or say, they are not getting me enough touches. That remains to be seen.

Bottom line is a DEFINITE H.O.F Shaq is worth Odom who only had one good season in miami and never is an all star, Grant who is over paid and Butler who is a good player but had a shocker last season and sum draft pick.
Miami wins Lakers go south for many seasons to come probably.

What? That wasn't your point at all...we were talking about injuries.
Would anyone in their right mind debate that Odom is better than Shaq? Did I say Odom was better than Shaq?
