You know what's spooky? (about Shaq)
When he left Orlando, the Magic fans were saying the same things us Laker fans are saying now about Shaq. The Heat fans are saying the same things Laker fans said when we acquired Shaq.
But the difference is, we got Shaq during his prime years.
With that said, it's quite sad (for the Laker franchise) that he had to leave like this. But I'm just happy he won't be our problem anymore.
Here's an old article on Shaq:
http://www.totk.org/old/5col-19980805.html
It's under the "Don't Simply Shake Your Head and Say It Won't Happen" title.

I'm not one of those bandwagon Laker fans.
Shaq maybe not in his best form, maybe not as best as he once used to be BUT still he creates match problems. Still he ables to make everyone on the team better. Still he's the unstoppable force in the NBA.
You just can't rule that out!

Don't get too cocky. Remember, Wilt AND Kareem were 32 when they were traded to the Lakers. And they had a pretty good LA career right?

I'm getting cocky?
I'm quite sure that no matter what happens this off-season Shaq's Miami Heat will definitely be more successful than a Kobe-led Laker team next year.

 Of course
But they were never paid as much as now Shaq makes. That was the problem b/w Shaq and Dr. Buss.
Show Me The Moneeyyyyyyy!

That's not the point here. Shaq is worth everything he's paid. He'll be just as dominant as ever with the Heat, maybe even more so now. He's goin to try to prove himself next year. And doing in it a weak conference like the East should only help him.

I know, but that's not the point of why I made this thread.
It's just interesting that Magic fans were saying things very similar to what we're saying and that Miami fans are saying things similar to what we said when we got Shaq.

Dude, that's the whole point. Moneyyyy! Jerry Buss was not simply going to extend Shaq's contract worth of over $60 mil.
