I'll take Hill and Turkoglu over a cancerous ball hog who doesn't play defense in Glenn Robinson and a raw rookie in Andre Iguodala.

Robinson won't be starting, at least not for long if ever. Iguodala is a rookie, but he's hardly raw. You can count on Hill, who's finished either literally or at least in terms of being any good, and Turk, who doesn't do anything that shoot open shots, but I'll go with the versatile Iguodala any day of the week.

What are you talking about? He's very raw.. Even Lute Olsen said he's not ready for the NBA yet.

You're telling me a guy who was the 4th scoring option on Arizona and scored a mere 12 points a game in college is not raw? Sure he can rebound and pass, but his game is very far from polished.

Considering there is a lot to basketball besides scoring, and he's extremely good at everything else, then not at all.

That's true, but he's extremely raw offensively, there's no way you can deny that. He's not ready to make that great of an impact right now.

He is good offensively, just not a great shooter. He doesn't need to be since he plays with AI who shoots it the vast majority of the time anyways. He's a scraper, and much more valuable that Turkoglu.

Wow I must be getting something wrong here, are we talking about the same magic. Everyone seems pretty excited that they are going to make the playoffs, I'll go out on a limb here and bring everyone to reality, the magic are going back to the lottery next year. Grant Hill is coming back yay, do you really think he is going to be anything close to what he was before, he prolly will be more cautious and not risk blowing out his ankles again, am sure he is also going to be watching his minutes. Dwight Howard is definitely not the second coming of Lebron, if anyone thinks he is going to have the impact that Bron had in his rookie season, think again. That brings us to the ex rockets, remember the major reason they made the playoffs was because of a huge presence in the paint called Yao. Matter of fact to cut this story short, I am putting the bucks, raps, celts and sixers over the magic to make the playoffs.

I'd be extremely surprised if he starts for Philadelphia. He could be an impact player off the bench, but yeah - right now he isn't anything more than a valuable role player who will work on defense, hit the boards, make the extra pass and get a hustle basket every now and then. Any team that is relying on him to be an offensive option (i.e. they set plays for him to get open shots or whatev.) is going to be in trouble next year. During the workouts they claimed that his shot was improving, and that's a good sign, but he still has a very long way to go.

We aren't really even counting on Hill being back. We know the chances are slim, but that's why we have Turkoglu, Garrity, Bogans, and possibly Stevenson ready to come in and play the 3 in the event that Hill is injured once again. With Francis, Cato and Mobley in the lineup(without Yao) the Rockets were good for 40-45 wins a year in the West. Now they move out East and have Turkoglu, Jameer Nelson, Dwight Howard(very good rebounder and shot blocker already), Drew Gooden(likely to be traded, good player(s) will be coming to Orlando) and possibly Grant Hill. No one thinks Howard is the second coming of LeBron, that's just stupid. But what Dwight is, is a good rebounder and shot blocker with amazing athleticism.

LMAO. If the Magic make the playoffs, they'll make the 2004 Celtics look like the 1996 Bulls. Okay, not that far... the 2001 Sixers.
