I think they're going to consider Luke Jackson the small forward, either way it really doesn't matter. I think he's going to stay on the ballot as a guard, like he was last season.
Yup, there's no way they're gonna put him as a forward - competition for Vince.

Vince really should be listed as a guard. I don't think he plays any different of a role on the Raptors than T-Mac did on the Magic, and will on the Rockets, or Kobe on the Lakers, or Pierce on Boston, and they're all listed as guards. Seems like a cheap way of getting him on the team because he has to face much less competition in the East at Forward as opposed to Guard.

Well yeah, it is cheap... the NBA does it though. To be a little fair though, Vince did play the 3 his first two seasons (he led the league in votes his 2nd year) and last year after the Rose trade, but he didn't in the Lenny Wilkens years.
Personally, I'd rather have him listed as a guard and have him earn the votes... I'm sure he'd still get voted in, but you wouldn't see the landslide results at all. Oh well, that's about the only good thing Vince has going for him left anyway so I won't complain.

I'm not positive on this, and it's not like it really matters, but I believe the teams submit a list of their official starting lineup(2 guards, 2 forwards and a center) before the season starts and those players listed will be put on the ballot at the position the team lists them at, so it would be the Raptors doing it, not the NBA. Again, I'm not sure about that and it doesn't really matter either way.

You do realize when Kidd and Martin were injured last season Jefferson put up 25-7-5 over a 10 game stretch, don't you? Jefferson is certainly capable of creating offense for himself without Kidd or Martin, contrary to popular belief. Expect a big year out of RJ this season.
Yes, i do remember now and it is very true but the two differences being 10 games compared to 82 and the fact that Eddy Curry has teased the last two years with his marvelous finishes at the end of the year, i think if jefferson keeps developing as he is then next year not this year is when he will be a 20ppg type of guy, from the games i've watched this summer is shot still doesnt have much touch but he is still improving.
Also, if all-star balloting is determined by the teams then Pierce might be listed as a F, but it wont matter much caus JO is gonna lock one up and then vince, so i guess its irrelevant except reduce the landslide victory for Vince who will prob be in street clothes on the sidelines again.

"If you've ever seen Iverson play in person, you know that his improvisational skills are amazing. Baron Davis calls him unguardable. He's a killer on the fast break. One on one, even one on two, when the guy they call the Answer is on a one-way trip to the basket, you better just foul him. People can hate all day about the number of shot attempts. But, damn, give him props for even getting them up. He's small enough to have every shot contested. That 39% shooting sounds terrible to the regular reader, but have you seen these NBA players lately?"

Doubt it, as there are rarely ever 5 players on one team on the ballot.

Alright, my bad he did play. But Vince is too the point where ppl just wait for the next time he goes down and if there is another big star putting up numbers and Vince isnt doing anything then i think this time might be the time he doesnt get his votes.
