Like I said, they have nothing resembling a center as of right now, so I'm just sticking him there for the time being. I still think Dampier is an option because they can offer him more money than anyone unless the Warriors end up signing and trading him.

Let's include the Bobcats in the comparisons, please. This thread is about them, afterall.

Agreed 100%. Sometimes it's better to start off new than be stuck with what you have. Which you can see in Atlanta's and Golden State's cases.

Who on the bobcats is better than Harrington or Terry right now? No one.
ATL will have a better record than the Bobcats. They signed the best players the could though, and their future might be bright within the next 5 years or so. I cant wait to watch guys like Wallace get burn, and Im a huge Kapono fan.

Okafor, if healthy, is better than Terry and Harrington.
But who's better 1 on 1 only matters when you're playing 1 on 1. Charlotte don't have the best players, but they have players with a lot of upside, and those who have something to prove.

Okafor, at this point, is not better than Harrington.

at this point i'd rather have okafor as the starting pf on my team then harrington. harrington can score, but im not a fan of the way he plays/scores. Okafor is a solid pf, even now, and although he doesnt have a polished offensive game, he can score in the post. He'll also get a lot of rebounds, and play great d, which is pretty much exactly what i'd want out of my starting pf. He isn't really a better player, but i'd rather have him (even without taking potential into consideration) on my team then harrington.

c'mon guys, CHarlotte WILL be the worst team next year.
Yes, they have some talented and up and coming players, and yes they may not be as bad as some people expect, but they have no-one who's used to leading a team, except Okafor, and he's a rookie.
Atlanta, or Washington or someone else, may only be a couple of wins ahead, but Charlotte will be worst. I'm happy to go on record saying that.

Dampier has said he has no wishes to go to a team that is not going to make the playoffs.
So he wants to go to NYK. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhahahaha.

The Bobcats won't win more than 15 games. They will have the worst record in the league this year.
