No No No... I agree with most of you n Sweetney... but in my opinion Darko will never be the star people tought he would and Kaman is nothing but a Big Bodied lazy guy... Man... look at his stats! Watch his games! His not fooling anyone...

Ok first of all kaman is everything but a stiff whoever sid that has obviously never seen him play, and second of all some one needs to check his +/- points he is by far the best in this class and will prove it this season with a more unselfish clipper team around him.
bosh is also very athletic and talented. sweetney is a big body but a little verticly chalenged.

I love you guys who think you can call a guy big bodied and lazy because hes white when you dont even research what you say. chris kaman is one of the most hard working young players in the league read the clippers web site and find out what he does in his off season. or let me just tell you he travels to chicago to hoops gym(tim grovers place)every sunday night and Lifts and shoots 500 js every day and also works on various post moves and agility drills etc then in the evenings plays nba pickup games then travels back home to michigan and still gets in some shots on the weekend. So before you call somene lazy and; by the way hes 7ft and 265 at somewhere around 8 or 9 % body fat (big bodied and lazy.....what) big bodied you should research your facts, but im sure you dont care about facts cuz you already have your falsely formulated opinions because the guys white and 7 ft.(he is one of if not the fastest center in the league btw)

Bosh needs to hit the weights if he wants to be a better post player.

I think Bosh will give Darko a run for the best of the group when all is said and done.

He's way ahead of you. He still has a lot of time to muscle up before the season starts but he's coming along very nicely considering he's only 20.

The Kaman's a stiff stuff makes me think many haven't even watched him play (which is understandable if you don't have League Pass). He should be much improved this season.

I think Darko will be world's better than all those guys- and what will really seperate him is his defense.
I was watching the tape of a game he had against the Rockets last season. There was a play where he switched onto Mike Wilks off a pick. Being a point guard, Wilk's eyes obviously light up at having a center trying to guard him on the perimiter. He spends about 10 seconds using every move he has trying to beat Darko off the dribble but he can never even get the ball up beyond the 3-point arc. For a guy his size, Darko's lateral quickness is inhuman. He's also very good shot blocker.
Every time I start to get down on him I go back and watch that game because he really displays a lot. There was a play where he got the ball on the block and went in for a driving hook, the shot just missed, but the exciting thing was the move. He is so fast off the dribble it's unreal. The next time down he got the ball in the same spot, dribbled twice like he was going to try the same move, spun back the other way and layed the ball in. I rewound the play and looked closer and what I saw amazed me. When he planted his pivot for his spin move, his foot was several inches OUTSIDE the paint. He had the 270 lb Othella Harrington bodying him up on the black and he was somehow able to slither around him for a layup without ever setting a single foot in the paint.
Darko's problem is he is just very inconsistent. Once he starts to get more focussed and pulls everythign together, he is going to be amazing. He has Kevin Garnett and Dirk Nowitski's quickness in David Robinson's body.

Sure is alot of Central Michigan games on TV
Most if not all of his TV games were tournamnet games which he dominated (partially because of the competition).
He also played very well against Duke and Creighton in the NCAA. I am wondering what other games you saw to say that he is nothing but a big body? I must have missed those games.
Was it games played by the voices in your head?
