I guess they plan to give RJ more minutes at the 2 spot, which will backfire on them. Jefferson is going to be exposed in a bad way if he logs heavy minutes at SG.

Agreed. RJ's one of the rare true SFs that just doesn't have the speed for SG or the size for PF. If the Nets are smart they'll build the line-up around RJ, not make RJ adjust to the players they bring in.

Cant be bad for NJ... I am not sure RJ can play the 2 btw... he is not that good of a shooter. If Zo is back healthy Nets can be a really tough squad.

Exactly, except RJ is faster, quicker, and more explosive than Pierce. Richard has all the tools to be a top SG in this league. He is fast enough and quick enough, and no 2 guard would be able to contain him in the post.
By the way, Eric Williams will play the 3 or 4 depending on the matchup.

I had an unfounded respect for you JMK because I happen to be a ardent supporter of Aqua Teen Hungerforce...but I am sorry that is one of the worst posts I have ever seen. RJ faster and quicker than Pierce? That is ludicrous. Jefferson will never be the dribbler, shooter, or player that pierce is. Richard was shaped as a SF in college and will remain that way if the net's organization knows anything about basketball.

I never said RJ is a better dribbler or shooter than Pierce is. I said RJ is quicker and faster, which I believe he is. And actually, Richard wasn't shaped as a SF in college. Most of the time he played PF.
