Swift is still a RFA and West has made it clear that he will match any offer for him. Not many athletic bigs available around the league.

True he says that but he signed The Custodian to a huge offer sheet. If we offered our whole MLE to Swift would they be able to match that? I personally don't know if you could answer that for me. Then Swift is a young, energy player which is what we definitely need. You will never know if they will match unless we offer and see the reaction.

Yao finished Friday's game with 27 points, 22 rebounds and five blocked shots, becoming the first NBA player to reach 20 points, 20 rebounds and five blocks in a game since Shaquille O'Neal did it last March against the Bucks. Only Moses Malone and Hakeem Olajuwon had done it with the Rockets, and the last time Olajuwon did it was Feb. 10, 1993.

besides the things that were mentioned be4 about this. THink of all the things yao can learn from mutombo. He has Ewing so imagine Him playin Mutumbo too. Im sure van gundy is gonna tell deke too give him a few elbows to the face. In the long run getting mutumbo can make yao a touhger defender, better rebounder and and tougher player overall. Pike is a nice guy to have on the bench when u need some quick 3's but i think getting mutumbo especially since we lost cato would be huge.

Yao can't speak english very well and well...I'm sure we've all heard Mutombo (try to) talk. that would be a crazy mess for the translators.
