Stephon Marbury: 8.9 APG
Jason Williams: 6.8 APG
Steve Francis: 6.2 APG
Tony Parker: 5.5 APG
So I guess Stephon is a purer PG than J-Will, and Francis is a purer PG than Parker.
Is it possible that maybe Livingston didn't dominate the ball so much that he had to pick up a point or an assist on every possession? Maybe he ran the offense the way it needed to be run, and did scored within the offense?
Or maybe his team just blew everyone out in the first three quarters, and he rarely played a fourth quarter all year. I don't know, but what you said is the worst argument on this thread.
Also, it seems to me that Telfair shot with 2 hands when he got further out. He used his off-hand to push the ball with his shooting hand.
Not only that, but I guarentee neither of their shooting percentages matter, since both of them probably took more layups off fast breaks and penetration than anything.

Bassy may of been ggod in hgihg school but he sucked it up when he was against other players entering the draft. It's called a weaker hs division.

Doubt it. I don't think Telfair will get enough minutes for us to judge, with Damon and NVE in front of him.

How could you say that? He beat up Jameer Nelson in pre draft workouts when Jameer is like 4 years older and so much stronger. On top of that Telfair played in the hardest area in the country, NY. He has the scoring record in NY, taking it from both Marburry and Kenny Anderson. He also took the championship in NY, he beat out Dwight Howard and his team. You have no idea what you're talking about kid.

Livingston is a unique point guard that has great court vision for a high schooler. His height seperates him from Telfair.

a weaker hs division?? In NYC?? bahahaahahha. YOu wanna compare the IA division in the PSAL vs what?? Shaun Livingston and Peoria?? wherever Saca's at?? Man that was funny. Are you talking about the exhibition games?? Cuz vs dwight howard and darius washington, Telfair beat em both. Those exhibition games are useless as a tape measure because it's a circus.
Telfair did great in the summer league, went toe to toe with devin harris, and proved he can get to the basket any time he wants. SOme telfair haters need to rethink their arguments.

Beat up Nelson? Where is that info coming from? I heard that he "held his own", which is a big, big difference from what you are trying to imply. Nelson is a bull of a PG, I highly doubt little Bassie "beat up" Jameer.

Telfair didn't shoot with 2 hands, he has a fundamental stroke, I've never seen him shoot 2 handed. Is it possible that Livingston didn't dominate the ball so much? Maybe, since I've rarely seen him play. Right now, I'm basing things on stats because I've rarely seen him play. He didn't even average over 20 PPG so I don't see how he can be a dominant scorer either. IMO, pure PG's should average a good amount of assists, I haven't seen enough of Jason Williams to say if he is a pure PG or not.
