A. Never win a MVP award

B. Never lead the Lakers to a championship

C. Might be in Prison for 20 years this year

Thats just too much money to give a role player like kob!tch. And they didn't want to give Shaq his money. At least he's earned it, he singlehandly brought the Lakers back to glory and three titles. The Lakers will regret that they ever did this trade just to build around that jordan wannabee ballhogging rapist.
