The Stack trade was stupid, though. His contract is almost as bad as he is to teams. Never should have gotten near him. And despite what you say, they are horrible at center. Need major help there. That african guy (what's his name?) looks like he could be good, but since I've never heard of him and he didn't get drafted at that size, something tells me he has major holes in his game. Who is he?

*sighs* once again. Stack was acquired in the harris deal. he was a "throw in" player to make the deal with jamison go through.
The african guy is named Dj Benga.

he wasn't drafted cause he had a knee prob like 2 years ago. mavs been scouting him since then. His knee is fine now and he was on the mavs summer league roster and swatted like 80 shots. He's still raw but he'll be fine. Booth will be fine there for the mavs. You act like the wolves just have a dominant center. It's not like K.G is a force in the paint

Actually KG is a force in the paint, which is why he's made 6 consecutive all-nba defensive first teams. But I have no idea why you brought up KG and the Wolves, as I never mentioned them. Saying that the Wolves don't have a dominant center has absolutely no effect on how good the Mavs are, so I have no idea why you even brought it up.
Who is even going to start at center for the Mavs? Do you have any idea?

This team hasn't even touched the floor and peeps already hating. While the suns have no "dominant big man" or shot blocker whatsoever but they have a "great future" ahead of them.

Wow You are a major homer and *******. The Suns have a great future because they have Amare,JJ,Q,Lampe,Marion, all of those people will continue to get better, if the Suns can find a Decent C then their fine.
The Mavs need a good C because Dirk is a ***** in the post. HE stands on the perimeter and jacks 3's. And who cares if Dirk blocked 3 shots in the POSTSEASON, I wanna see him do it all year long next year, and actyually play in the post.
You want 20 C's that are Better thant Booth? OK.
Ratliff/Camby/Kandi/Curry/Shaq/Dampier/B.Wallace/Okur/Divac/B.Miller/Magloire/Illgauskas/M.Blount/Dalembert/Ming/Kaman/J.SMith/Cato.
I could name a few more, but why? All of those C's are better than Booth, and also could help the team more.
Mav's are underestimated I guess, but they most likely won't go far unless they get a real banger in the post.

Blocked shots doesnt always = great post defense. I dont understand why you feel the need to get so defensive about things. I simply try to make a point about one of the Mavs weaknesses. Why dont you accept that and try to figure out solutions? The Mavs are good but they have holes, just like the Suns do and just like every other team out there.

KG isnt a dominate force in the post? He is 5 times the player Dirk will ever be. KG can hit a shot from anywhere inside the 3pnt. line and can even shoot the 3. Jesus, stop being jsuch a damn homer, Dirk is a PF who stands on the perimeter because he doesn't want to break a fingernail while banging inside. Dirk isn't god and will never be a superstar. He'll be a star but never a superstar because he can't play D for :cthread: And If you bring the 3bpg up then lets see him show that during the whole reg. season.

explain that then
Explain webber starting 10 for 10 against him (on one leg) in the kings/wolves series last year.
LOL!@dirk being soft. he played the past few years with BAD ANKLES. 2 years ago he had bone spurs in both of em and still played, then had offseason surgery and went out to play in the world championships. that's funny

Oh yeah, and the Suns have this dude Amare something. Heard he's pretty good and like 21. Check him out. This Magic Lamp dude too.

For everyone who criticizes trading Jamison, I heard that Jamison asked to be traded (not to the media, though.) If someone can back me up on this it would be great.

Sorta OT: The Grizzlies are the team that's being slept on. P.S. My God, the powder blue uni's! Aaahhh!! Just looking at Gasol and Boozer's NBA page, plus we have the Mavs and Nuggets. Ughh.
Dirk isn't Danny Ferry, but come on. He isn't going to be a great defender against KG, Duncan, Boozer, Martin, Randolph,Stoudemire, Brand, Gasol, etc.
Dirk is definitely hard to guard even for KG, but KG had a 35/10/10 game against the Mavs last year. That's not stopping him, to put it lightly.
