Who is the best SG in the NBA today?
IMO.Kobe Bryant
Kinda guessed that from your name. Yeah, It has to be Kobe, RIGHT NOW, but I actually think if T-Mac has actually worked this offseason in 1-2 years T-mac will be the best SG.

T-Mac is the better player, and the rest of the world will see that this season.
of course, if kobe has a great season and the lakers do damage in the playoffs, people will say it's because he had more help around him. and on the flip side, if the rockets don't fare as well, then t-mac is still getting used to yao and had little other help around him.
if kobe averages 35 a game, people will call him a selfish ballhog. if t-mac averages 35 a game, people will call him one of the greatest offensive forces in NBA history.
if kobe has a great season statistically and doesn't make the playoffs, or doesn't make it past the first round, he's nothing without shaq. and going with that, if t-mac makes it past the first round, he's better than kobe and would have won 8 straight championships had he been with shaq.
i dub it "The Kobe Bryant Super Double Standard of Doom."
P.S i'm a big fan both kobe and t-mac. one of the very few posters on this site (who else other than Minstrel?) who has unconditionally love for both players.
T-Mac and Kobe are almost the same, it's hard to differentiate the two. Kobe had the luxury of being on a good team, T-Mac didn't... We'll see in these next few years most likely...

id say as of now, with kobe's loss of shaq and tmac's gain of yao, its tmac. but in the next one or two years, lebron. its just that reports of him being 6'10 240-50, is just really, really scary.

I am going against the grain here, I choose Vince Carter. Vince Carter is as good offensively as both T-mac and Kobe, maybe not as explosive but obviously more athletic. Kobe is the better one on one defender but Vince excels as a team defender and thats why he leads both of them in blocks per game. Vince also excels in passing out of the double team, bottom line is Vince is my pick
