shaq/cwebb or shaq/penny?
With all this talk brewing about Kings trading CWebb to Heat, I was wondering about what could've happened if CWebb wasn't traded to the Warriors.
Which duo you think would've done better in the league? Which combo would you take? I say Shaq/CWebb could've been a historic front line myself.

well, not webber back then. remember that it took about 6 years for Cwebb to start behaving like an adult. Penny came into the league and lead a team to the finals in his 2nd year.

Discounting the injuries that Penny ended up suffering, I'd have gone with O'Neal/Hardaway. Penny was a breath-taking talent when he was healthy. He gave Jordan and Pippen, no weak defenders, plenty of trouble. Penny had a polished post-up game, could slash with the best and had a good mid-range game. He was also a slick passer.
That's an incredible compliment for a dominant big man. Had O'Neal stayed in Orlando and Penny never been injured, they could have been what the Lakers became.
I think Hardaway was a Hall of Fame talent, like Grant Hill was, before his injuries.

how would that trade work? shaq and webber absolutely hate each other.
shaq/penny for all the reasons Minstrel stated. they would've basically been shaq/kobe part 1.

definitely agree with you there, as a matter of fact my dad used to say circa 97 that penny had the best shot at being the next jordan once he moved over to the 2. even for a guy who had more scoring talent than anything he was a dazzling point guard and he ran a good offense. i remember thinkin that a kidd-hardaway backcourt in 98 when he got traded would one of the best in history... but sadly penny's been snakebitten ever since he was traded
