BUMP

Just to flag this again, and let you all know that it is going ahead. Some of bbb.net's most respected posters will be taking part, including hobojoe, theo4002 and Ben.

I am considering offering a year's supporting membership as a prize, but am concerned that this will encourage cheating. If I am satisfied at the end of the season that the winner has not cheated, I may reward them, but as the element of trust is soc ritical to this I cannot promise.

The advantages to this over RP McMurphy's contest are that you get the opportunity EVERY day to improve your scores. If you mess up RP's contest by making immature, geeky predictions you could lose interest in the contest very quickly.

This one will keep you involved throughout the season, and no matter how you are doing in the season as a whole, you can always win one of the monthly awards.

PM me for a copy of the spreadsheet. What have you got to lose!

(By entering the contest you are agreeing to abide by the rules and above all are promising to be 100% honest)

OK - this is the last time I'm bumping this before the start of the season.

LineOfire - check your PM!!

Season starts a week tomorrow! This is your last chance to prove yourself top pundit!

An added feature has been included: COmpetitors will be split into 2 conferences, and the best 4 in each at the end of the season will qualify for the playoffs, where they will predict scores in the playoffs.

It may be possible to join in after the season starts, bearing in mind that you must predict the results of at least 1000 of the 1230 games.

PM me your e-mail address NOW!!

Guys, you must not have seen the part I bolded. I am playing, it must be cool. Seriously though, JazzMan put together a really cool spreadsheet, and the game looks like it'll be a lot of fun given that no one cheats. Join up!

Does the spreadsheet calculate how many points you got, or do you have to figure it out yourself?

It calculates it itself. All you have to do is type in your predictions and the actual results, the spreadsheet does the rest itself. Pretty damn cool if you ask me.
