Link: Kandi compare to Shaq/Yao
About two years ago I post "ESPN compared kandi with Wilt".
Olowokandi knows he didn't perform up to his expectations last season. That's why he's not making 100 excuses for why his name isn't mentioned along with Shaquille O'Neal and Yao Ming as one of the top centers in the NBA.

Posted by a local paper.
Ironically, every local paper for every team in the NBA is running stories about positive turn around of their respective players.

I'm curious ... what, in your opinion, makes Kandi "pretty intelligent"?
As a Clipper fan, from what I know of Kandi, he's proven to be just the opposite. So, I may have missed something and would like to be fair.

Thanks. I'm guessing you mean his accent? The next time you have an opportunity to actually "listen" to him, listen for content --- his conversations are empty and he gets away with it BECAUSE of his accent.
Did you see him on "Politically InCorrect" with Bill Mahr? He was embarrasing. He couldn't compose a thought.
Anyway, thanks for the response.
GO CLIPPERS!!!!

I think Kandi is a decent C in this league, no where near what he should be considering his potential, but decent nonetheless.

If decent now means worthless garbage, then yes, he is "decent".

He is a decent player. Good size and an ok athlete for his size. But so far he has had too many injuries to establish himself and his biggest downfall is that he obviously lacks real good basketball instincts.
I am thanking my lucky stars Orlando was denied an injury exception last year for Grant Hill because they intended to sign Olowokandi with it.

Yes, you are a pointless poster. So many of your posts are one-sentence answers.
Back to topic: What kind of potential did Olowokandi have? Like was he predicted to challenge Shaq for the number 1 spot or not?
