What abaout these "rankings" - GM DRAFT - PGs
What about these “rankings” taken from the GM Draft thread?
Please keep in mind that some of these picks were made considering potential, youth and other aspects other than actual value.
Do you think they reflect somewhat the true ranking value of players?
Point guards:
1. Jason Kidd;
2. Stephon Marbury;
3. Baron Davis;
4. Steve Francis;
5. Mike Bibby;
6. Tony Parker;
7. Gilbert Arenas;
8. Steve Nash;
9. Sam Cassell;
10. Chauncey Billups;
11. Kirk Hinrich;
12. Jamal Crawford;
13. Jason Terry;
14. TJ Ford;
15. Ben Gordon;
16. Andre Miller;
17. Sebastian Telfair;
18. Carlos Arroyo;
19. Bobby Jackson;
20. Shaun Livingston;
21. Jason Williams;
22. Eric Snow;
23. Luke Ridnour;
24. Jamaal Tinsley;
25. Leandro Barbosa;
26. Larry Hughes;
27. Gary Payton;
28. Devin Harris;

No. For example, Andre Miller is way too low, and Telfair is way too high.

Based on potential, it looks okay. Its still uncomfortable having Telfair and Livingston so high above pretty good point guards. Looks pretty good other than those two though.

*raise hand* sorry, i'm the one responsible for making arroyo so high.
anyway, flip him around with payton and it's not that bad... i hope
the list is actually quite good until somewhere in the teens

This is fantasy rankings correct?
If your talking about potential and youth than Kidd and Marbury shouldn't be on the list and Cassell and Nash shouldn't be in the top 10. Tony Parker should not be ahead of Gilbert Arenas/TJ Ford/Shaun Livingston/Kirk Hinrich.

No, it makes it much worse. His position was about right the way you made it.
