I'd take Josh any day of the week. twice on Tuesday. I barely even saw Josh play but know for a fact that Juwan is just a born loser...natural loser... I bet you the only reason Weisbrod agreed to the Rockets trade was only if they were able to ship Juwan out.

Making a straight-up bet with you that the Rockets will win less than 45 games is pointless because the oddsmakers are putting the over-under for them at 50 games, why should I give you 5 free games?
If you give me odds that I like and you can convince me that you're good for your money, send me a PM and I'd certainly take a bet.
Regarding the Pacers having a worse record than the Rockets, I doubt it, but it could happen. I think there are a lot of things that could go wrong for us this year, between Artest blowing up again, and all the injuries we're suffering right now.

I'm not basing anything on odds makers, just your statement.
"Juwan Howard is the kind of player who loses everywhere he goes, and, if you trade for him or sign him, guarantees that you will win fewer games than you won the year before you got him."
"If anyone doesn't understand that after all these years, I don't know what to say, other than that Juwan's ability to make a team worse will be on display yet again this year."
You didn't say they will win less than 50 games, you said 45. Thats not giving me 5 free games, thats backing up your own words. Put your money where your mouth is.
PS. I'm not the kind of guy that trolls around boards and make stupid wagers all day, but your Rockets winning less than last year just seems a little too ridiculous to me, so yeah I am definitely up for free money.

As a matter of fact, I did put my money where my mouth is, I made an online bet that the Rockets will win under 50 games this year. Just because I think they will win less than 45 games, doesn't mean I'm not backing up my own words if I turn that bet down. I don't think they'll win between 45 and 50 games, but I could be wrong, so it makes no sense for me to make a bet where I'd lose in that scenario, when I could just as easily make a bet where I'd win in that scenario. You're asking me to give you five free games, I'm not a charity ward.
If you're so convinced that they're going to win more than 45 why don't you give me two to one odds, now there's a bet I'd actually make.
Edit: Please respond to this in PM if you're actually interested, otherwise I'll assume you're just a troll talking smack.

Have people totally lost respect for big men that can't play above average defense? Juwan Howard is an offensive force in the post, a lost art with all the new PF's and C's coming out of college and HS. No, he's not a great player but definitely an adequate third option along with Mo Taylor.

First of all, we're not going to some sports bar and taking down Vegas odds or whatever. Its between you and me. And i never said they will win 50 games. YOU are the one that said they will win less than 45.
I am not asking you to give me any games. If you think they will win less than 45, then BET on 45. Who the hell brought up 50 games, not me.
And why are you asking me to give you odds? If you believe in what you say, then put up or shutup. Straightup, no odds. If you're too ***** to bet on 45 then you shouldn't have brought it up in the first place.
Next time just say, "Juwan will only improve a team that acquires him by 5 games(50)." And i would have left you alone. Now you got yourself looking like a pansy.

He doesn't have a true position, but if he was on a right place, like right next to KG, he could definitely flourished. The problem with him is he never had the chance to play alongside someone that really fits with him.

The 76ers wanted him for Eric Snow, but the Rockets wouldn't give anything more than Mo Taylor. That being said, if the Rockets aren't a top 5 team in the West by February I think he will be traded for anything they can get. I wouldn't mind getting a Joe Smith, Kurt Thomas type player in return.

Obviously he isn't going to make a bet with you that they don't win 45 games when he can go out and make a bet that they don't win 50 somewhere else.
I for one think Juwan will have a pretty decent year with none of the attention focused on him. He's not a good defender at all, but he's pretty crafty on offense and knows how to draw fouls. At least he's an upgrade over Mo Taylor.

But if he really believed they would win less than 45, then he would make the bet. Obviously, RP thinks its very possible for Houston to win between 45-50, otherwise he would be making the bet.

Eh, it's just smart money. Like he said, if he can go online and bet that they don't win 50 at his leisure, why would he make a bet that's less in his favor with a guy on a basketball forum? It'd be pointless.

This is what you should've done in the first place, don't talk if you're gonna ***** out.
From the private message you sent me i guess you still don't get what i'm saying. I DONT CARE what the bookies say. I don't care about the Vegas odds. I'm not betting with them, I'm betting with you, base on what YOU said.
The Vegas people never said Rockets will win less than 45 games, YOU did. If the bookies have it that Rockets will win 20 games next year, I would STILL bet on the 45, because thats OUR number RP. I don't give a **** what their odds are.
The point of this bet is not to solely make money, or else you would be right, you can just bet on 50 online or whatever. This bet is for you, and me, to backup our word. 45 wins, straight out of your mouth.
Oh and just to prove how much crap comes out of your mouth. Has Juwan EVER been a third option instead of the burden of 1st or 2nd(which he can't handle)? Yes. Once.
2000-2001 Mavericks 53-29
THIRTEEN more wins than the year before.
OOPS.
