Kobe just getting OWNED by Kirilenko
On the replay it clearly showed Kobe get his shot Blocked by Kirilenko for like the 3rd time but of course the officials wanted to try to avoid embarrassment for Kobe anymore by not ruling that a block

The announcers talk about Shaq and Kobe enough for everyone. I am about to get sick hearing people talk about the Shaq and Kobe situation for the 1000th time. Or how about Kobe "has to learn to make his teammates better" or how "shaq is in shape and motivated" I'm going to throw up. There are 30 teams.

Lakers with 28 points at the half. Not much to talk about I guess.

I was actually just about to post one about how they are getting thouroughly owned, scoring 28 in the first half.

It's funny looking back at the other Laker thread and seeing all the Laker fans talking about how the team is going to make the playoffs and might even win it all, lol
Kobe is getting Owned, which I knew would happen since he doesent have Shaq to take away those double and triple teams anymore. 1-7 shooting is awful and now he is finding new cheap ways of trying to score 30-40 points a game....the Free Throw Line, and hell he is even missing some Free Throws

Getting to the free throw line is not cheap. Takes alot of wear and tear to get to the free throw line night in night out.

The guy cant hit any jumpshots or layups, he is only going to get his points this season from the Free Throw line

I'm just shocked by the assists (2) the Lakers have totaled. Yes, that number is two, at halftime. Talk about selfish basketball.

did anyone expect LA to win this game? They start the year with back to back games, the 2nd one being on the road, both to western conference playoff contenders. They obviously weren't going to start 2-0. But thanks to that ATL game later on, we will probably start 2-2 after losing to SAS in our 3rd game. Utah is too good of a team and is too well coached to lose a home opener where they have matchup favorites. They also play excellent, Detroit style defense and will contain Kobe as much as they can (just like Detroit did in the finals). It all comes down to whether Mihm can dominate (which was probably a rarity last night) and whether we can hit our shots (sub 25% shooting in the 1H). I expect a loss, but IMO this laker team will probably be about .500, which could sneak them into the playoffs. I expect a better regular season than postseason because there is no chance we can beat some of those highly ranked playoff teams.

I think it has more to do with the fact they are getting completely obliterated.
