L.A. Should trade for J-Will
Im not sure how this would work under the cap, but a trade around the lines of:
Chucky Atkins
Caron Butler
1st Rounder
for
Jason Williams
or
CB
for
Rafer Alston
just a thought of how the lakers could rid their point guard problems

I don't see either of the other teams going for those.

Memphis declines.
Butler wouldn't even see the floor on the Grizzlies.

Just because Memphis has depth doesn't mean they are dying to give it away for... even more depth.

Memphis would never trade JWill for those players.... I'm not sure they would even accept to trade him for Odom...

It sounds like you're a big Laker fan that isn't taking into account the relationship of the player to the another team. The Grizz don't need more 3s, and they don't need to trade JWill for a benchwarmer (in Memphis he'd be) and Chucky Atkins.

I doubt if Memphis traded for MORE depth....u can only be so deep (lol didnt think I'd ever say that about a NBA teams' depth).
The Grizzlies wouldn't do that anyway,I don't think Earl Watson can be a 82 game starter in this league.

Memphis needs a smarter more consistent pointguard. However with west and his win now mentality I don't think they would do this trade.
Caron Butler and James Posey are basically similar players, and while a lot of pointguards are coming up in the draft, it will be at least two years before one of them can replace Jwill.
Jwill is so dumb, and it's upsetting because he is and amazing passer and the best ball handler in the league imo.
