The Suns are about to be immensely overrated
Their upcoming games:
Sat 6 @ New Jersey
Tue 9 @ Chicago
Wed 10 @ Cleveland
Sat 13 Sacramento
Tue 16 @ Dallas
Wed 17 @ New Orleans
Fri 19 L.A. Lakers
Sun 21 @ L.A. Clippers
Mon 22 Chicago
Wed 24 Milwaukee
Fri 26 New Orleans
Tue 30 @ Utah
I like this team, I see them making the playoffs, but I don't think they are going to win more than 45 games. They have an offense that can desecrate the Nets and Bulls but will struggle against teams with tight help defense and any kind of offense in the post. Most of these teams have terrible perimeter defense, Nash, Q and JJ shouldn't have much trouble finding open shots.
They only play 1 solid defensive team this month, maybe 2 if you consider the Lakers a good defensive team. Their weaknesses are not going to be shown for a long time, so don't start predicting a WC Finals appearance after they average 105 ppg and win 8-10 games in November.

Eh, most people said it was a stretch for them to make the playoffs before preseason started, by the it was over people were picking them to win the division. If they're going to be overrated, it's already happened.
8 of those 12 games are against decent to very good teams, it's not like they're playing the Hawks 12 times. If they win 8-10 of them, it's because they're a good team too, not because they got lucky by not playing San Antonio or Minnesota every night. Sheesh.

I predicted the Suns to finish 10th, but if I could change that I probably would. This team knows what its good at, and thats running running running. They may not beat any of the top teams who can play transition defense, but they'll probably beat up on the mediocre to horrible teams. Thats what the Mavs were like a couple years ago when they won almost 60 I believe.

I don't think so. They are a very scary team, probably the most athletic team in the entire NBA. You have two 20/10 players in Amare and Marion, and an up and coming player in Joe Johnson. On top of that you have one of the best PG's running the show in Nash. They're not overrated, they are a scary team....a team you don't want to see in the playoffs.

They aren't playing against more than 3 playoff teams in their first 14 games.
The 02-03 Supersonics got off to a flying start, all the analysts start predicting big things for them after an 8-2 or 9-2 start and they ended up finishing the season 40-42.

Unless I missed something Yao Ming right now isn't better than Vlade Divac in his prime or even Rik Smits while Amare has far far surpassed Brian Grant level which you said would be an accomplishment for him.
