The chinese can't force Yao Ming to do anything. He's a grown man in America. 2nd, Houston would never let Yao Ming leave Houston. There is absolutely zero logic for this move. There would be a reason why it would be and only a rumor.

the man is right, the chinese gov. forces all chinese players to do things they dont want, like the indorsements, goin back to play for the national team, play on a diff team etc., JUST GIVE THIS GUY A BREAK U QUEEEEERRRS

Pretty much, yeah.
BTW, I don't think Yao needs to be in LA to get any more press. By being Yao, he's already one of the premier endorsees in sports IMO.
