What happened to the Eddie Jones that used to be a defensive presence and an authorative slasher/dunker. Eddie Jones used to be my favorite player on the Lakers during Kobe's rookie season. Eddie Jones dunked over Shawn Bradley twice in the same game! He was bad! He was better than Kobe back then....what happened?

Pretty much. I loved EJ back when he was a Laker, he was such a great All Star caliber guard who really cared about the game and his teammates. Was really sad to see him go, but obviously it was the best choice if it was him or Kobe.

That said, yes, he's old now, has a horrible contract, and isn't a postseason player.

Yep. Some players can still go full throttle at 33, but that's not the case with many.
