Team that doesn't succeed? That team made the playoffs and almost beat the #1 seed Pistons. We all know what the Pistons accomplished the year after that. That season was one of the most amazing individual seasons I have ever witnessed, and IMO it was easily the best season T-Mac and even Kobe has ever had.

Yeah, I got last seasons stats and the 2002-2003 stats mixed up. But when you average 28/5/5 on a 20 win team, that guy shouldent be the one to blame, he did his part, the other guys didnt. Heck, McGrady was even the Assist leader on that crappy team. He did all he could with trash around him and Grant Hill's huge contract and salary cap sitting on the bench

You sure make quick conclusions...
So when francis 2 seasons ago was averaging around 28 pts 13 games into the season, did you think francis was the next kobe or something? Please!!! you havent watched mcgrady play once. The way he scores is remarkable. Many would agree that he is the greatest scoring talent since jordan. Is Kobe averaging 32 ppg at 45% with him as the only viable option? NO!You are freakin ignorant if you think t-mac cant score 30 on a good team. Yes you are right that t-mac cant score 30 on a jvg team..
o yes.. one more thing to inform you about to help with your ignorance.
How many years JVG has coached???? ALOT!!! How many times has JVG had a player average above 20 ppg??
Guess what.. Tracy Mcgrady is the first player ever to average above 20pts with JVG as the head coach!!!! Yes the same coach who had patrick Ewing...

ya its a homer fest. yuor right. Typically homers watch more games than typical nba fans, so we typically know more about the team. JVG is part of the team, and we believe he isnt the right coach... its that simple.

lol I was wondering what he was talking about. How are we homers? Van Gundy is part of the team we root for, we watch this team and we all know he is the problem. It's as simple as that whodinee

thats one of the biggest lies ive ever heard. patrick ewing from 96-98 averaged over 22 ppg. and spreewell and houston didnt get over 20 ppg but right around 18-19 ppg

To be fair if T-Mac had played as well last season as he did in 2002-2003 they probably would have won 30-35 games.
