Basically everything he wrote in that post, I have said in this thread. What makes it funny is the part bolded.... questioning whether or not he can do certain things without Shaq humors me.

I understood what you were saying, I knew someone would comment on that
But until Kobe proves he can put up 30ppg over an 82 game season at a high% like he did with Shaq - which I find amazing in itself if you take into account Shaq averaged 28ppg that year - I don't see how it's not fair to question whether he is capable of it.

It's just insinuating that Shaq is responsible for him scoring 30 a game that irks Kobe fans. He obviously not, but sure it's a fair question. Also remember this is the only season Kobe ever averaged 30 a game, so there is a chance he wont do it again, but of course I doubt that.

I think that was when Phil ran more plays for Kobe as the first option because he was fed up with Shaq being out of shape and lazy. It seemed to work so well too, Kobe was amazing, Shaq was good too, then for some reason he went back to doing everything through Shaq (as big as a baby whale by the playoffs) who was owned by Tim Duncan in the final 2 games.

The offense in LA always ran through Shaq. Kobe would get his, but alot of his shots would be outside of Phil's design.

Regardless, two players playing on the same team, one guy scoring 28 @ 58% a game and the other scoring 30 @ 45%, is phenomenal. 60ppg from 2 guys!
