Top 5 performers so far

No, I am open to discussion all the time. It's just that I DO NOT agree with you.

I think Dirk has enough talents to be like KG and Duncan but his F@CUKING coach Nelly will get in the way. Last night is a classic example of how he F@UCKED up his team. No set rotation, new players still look as confused as ever even 20 games into the season and they still have doubts that Dirk is the go-to guy. We don't know who the real PG is... Harris? Terry? Armstrong or Daniel????!!!! Daniel was horrible last night but Nelly insisted him on playing PG. Sigh...

They would rather sign Dampier than Nash but Dampier only played 28 mins last night against Sonics. WTF? Mavs was clearly out-rebounded and bad on defense and Nelson insisted on having the small-ball line up. He tried to come up new tricks but THEY ARE NOT WORKING AT ALL.

If Mavs keeps playing the way they are now, this will be another WASTED year just like last year when they had Walker and Jamison. Wasted.

Let it all out... I am on board with you here. I keep saying over and over again that the Mavs looks horrible on offense and I blame alot of it on Don "Trick it up" Nelson and his anti-flow offense.

I don't agree that this team is bad on defense. They have lapses but overall they are much better than last years team on that end. How else could we stay in the game last night with our ugly offense?

We do miss Nash quite a bit but he was a huge hole on the defensive end. Dampier is not putting up the numbers that I expect but I am not ready to call him a failure, not even close. Even as mediocre as he has been he still has a big affect on the game.

Maybe its time to look at Jason Kidd.

Sorry none of this has anything to do with the top 5 performers so far which is a topic I could not possibly care less about. Whether Dirk is 2nd, 5th or 8th is insignificant. I only care about wins.

Sorry man, I say that nobody has as much impact as Garnett and Duncan do, and you jump to say I'm implying Dirk has no impact on the game at all. It's obvious that there's no way to have this discussion with you.

I am glad on you are on this with me.

NO, I don't think Mavs has bad defense 'cause they clearly showed great defense against the T-Wolves who was 3rd in rebounding.

I brought up that Mavs' defense was horrible last night because Damp wasn't on the court! That's my point.

Mavs. has all the talents they need. 3 PGs; 3 Centers; Shooters (Dirk and Finely); Defense players Dampier, Josh Howard, Jason Terry; draw-foul-guys (Dirk and Stackhouse)..

When you look at how many good players they have, you will realize Nelson is CLEARLY doing something wrong. Mavs game has NO FLOW. The only reason they have the winning right now is because of Dirk.

We do have the defense but he doesn't use it. Somewhat he thinks that "unique" small-line is going to make a lot of mismatches and gonna win the game for Mavs. Offensively, Mavs was alright but defensively, Mavs sucked last night. Sonics is on fire right now and you can't really out-score them. So what do you do? SECURE your freaking basket. Grab the rebounds and have more inside precense. Dampier?? I thought that's why they got him and gave up Nash?

Trust me on this. This game will reflect Mavs' playoff outcome. Mark my words. Nelson may use Dampier occassionally but when the game gets tight, he'll stick with his small men.

The biggest problem with Nelson is that he keeps changing his lineup. Nobody knows what the their role is. This is critically bad. Stick with a few men and let them figure out how to play rather than having Nelson figure it out for them. The new players have to grow on their own and you can't just ask them to contribute much with that constantly changing lineup. If it means Mavs is going to lose a few games, let them lose. Let them fire up damn it.

With Nash being there, at least they know they are not going to turn the ball over and the PG position is well secured.

I suspect part of the reason Nelson doesn't use Dampier that much is that he is not a good outside shooter. Nelson doesn't like guys that are not good at taking long-range shots. WTF? Dampier may struggle a little bit now but you have to let him play to get used to the system. It's better to lose now than losing in the playoffs (if they can get in of course).

Imagine if Lebron played beside Shaq, he would be unbeatable.
Don't get me wrong, Dwayne is a great talent, but he benefits a lot from Shaq's presence on the floor. I doubt his numbers would be anywhere close to where they are now if it wasn't for Shaq.
Wade - 24.0ppg 5.5rpg 7.4apg 1.61spg 1.2bpg .511FG%

Shaq makes the game easier but u have to have Super-Star talent to put up Super-Star numbers!!!

Wade is 4 real!!!

I agree with you, Wade deserves the hype he has gotten. Those numbers are better than what Kobe put up last year playing with Shaq and Kobe was 1st team All-NBA.

He benefits from Shaq, but Wade can flat out play.
