Top 5 performers so far
My ranking:
1. Ray Allen - defeat the best teams easily
2. Dirk - you can compare him with TD and KG
3. A Jamison - great impact
4. Amare - soft schedule, but beat all of the average teams
5. Lebron- improve significantly.
I count Shaq, Kobe, KG, Wade, T-Mac out of top 5.

What is with all this hype over Dwayne Wade, so many people are considering him to be a top 5 player already.
Imagine if Lebron played beside Shaq, he would be unbeatable.
Don't get me wrong, Dwayne is a great talent, but he benefits a lot from Shaq's presence on the floor. I doubt his numbers would be anywhere close to where they are now if it wasn't for Shaq.

Ray Allen- You can't argue with success
Kevin Garnett- He's just the man
Steve Nash- Phoenix has about 10 wins w/o him
Tim Duncan- Can you say consistent
Lebron James- He is at a different level than most players
Next 5: Dirk, Kobe, Jamison, Webber, and Shaq

Why ? for the Defence
Dirk is good but is nothing against KG or Duncan

Funny enough, the Mavs won that game because nobody outside of Garnett could get a rebound. And also funny how he didn't "take KG to school", in fact KG outplayed him, not by much but he still was better.
Garnett/Duncan - There are sexier picks early in the season all the time, but still nobody comes anywhere close to having as much impact as these two guys.
Dirk - Can't be mentioned on KG and Duncan's level. And it's not only because of his bad defense. Duncan and Garnett mean WAY more to their team's than anybody else in the league including Dirk, it's not even close. Dirk has been amazing, but he still doesn't have close to as big of an impact on the game as Duncan and Garnett.
Lebron - Almost put him ahead of Dirk. He means more to his team than anybody outside of Dirk and Garnett, and he's truly the only guy in the next 5 years other than those two that I think has a chance to be worthy of the MVP trophy.
Allen/Amare - Could've been either guy, couldn't decide so I figured I'd mention both. Nash could be a possibility too.

What do you mean NOTHING? Is Dirk really that bad? Besides defense, Dirk is equally if not superior than the other two. When you compare, you can't just say NOTHING like... that's insulting. Give some respect to Dirk please. He deserves better than that.

Mavs will be a losing team without Dirk. Yeah...he doesn't have any impact on the team... I got it.
You guys gotta come up better reason than this.
