Always making excuses. Do the Wizards ever get beat in your eyes? They got smacked by 23. Thoroughly dominated with Wade doing nothing.
Yeah they got beat, but why come to a conclusion about the team when their 3 best players all had uncharacteristically terrible games?

Very true, his FT shooting has looked better in recent weeks. Problem with Shaq has always been discipline, though. Laker fans saw first hand how Shaq would look terrible for a few weeks and then suddenly shoot FTs around the 70% mark for the new few weeks. He was young back then (I'm talking 97ish), and Laker fans hoped that he would one day improve his FT shooting. It never happened, and he's 32 now. Best you can hope for is his 2003 percentage (62% FT).
Very true: Shaq does a big tease atleast once a year with his FT shooting and then he falls back to normal awful self. Don't know why I don't think he's all that lazy since I've heard reporters comment that he works at his FT's a lot. Maybe he should just start over shooting them left handed. His old wrist injury wouldn't be an excuse then

They were soundly whooped and are now 0-3 vs. Miami. This is not a coincidence. They are not better than the Heat and they lose because the Heat beat them, not because guys have off-nights.

Wizards are overrated. They are falling apart right now, and won't be over .500 for very long. My guess is that they'll probably only win another 6-7 games between now and the end of January.

How are they falling apart?

Highest scoring offense in the East.

Lead the league in offensive rebounds.

Lead the league in steals.

Lead the league in forced turnovers.

Top 6 in the league in turnovers.

Highest scoring trio in the league.

Just getting a starting calibur big man healthy and still missing what was a 6th man of the year candidate last season.

As long as they beat the teams they should their not going to 'fall apart'.

Exacatly. Did they have 3 off nights against the Heat? Cuz the Heat have beat them three times already, and it will be four tonight.

The Heat are a bad matchup for the Wiz. Their biggest strengths (fg %, defense) are our weaknesses. The Heat are better, and I picked the Heat to win the division easily this year. The Wizards still aren't at full strength, that's not an excuse, it's a fact. Our frontcourt is depleted until Kwame and Etan get healthy. That's why I'm not on the bandwagon either way, anything the Wiz do now is gravy cause they'll be much better when they got Blake/Etan/Kwame back at full strength.
