Trade Between Chicago and Orlando (Most realistic Deal I've heard yet)
This is the deal I think is the most realistic way to deal with Mike Miller.
Magic Get:
Jamal Crawford ($8,261,497 ends 2004)
2003 Draft Pick (Let's say... oh... Chris Bosh)
Bulls Get:
Mike Miller ($10,862,697 ends 2004)
Why Orlando would do it:
Since the 2003 Draft is filled with PF's and from what its looking like, the Bulls will have a good lottery pick so that will solve their PF problem, and Jamal Crawford is a great, versatile point guard who would definatly solve that problem.
Why Chicago would do it:
The Bulls are struggling and need to help take the load off Jalen Rose's back. Donyell Marshall helps a little but Miller could do miracles for the Bulls. The 2003 Draft is PF heavy, which the Bulls are too, so the three realistic picks that they would want would be: LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Jarvis Hayes. Ofcourse James and Anthony are better than Miller, but they will be picked most likely before the Bulls. Hayes is a realistic pick but the Bulls need immediate help, and another young rookie might not be what they exactly want. Miller may be young, but he can help the team immediatly.
Why Orlando wouldn't do it:
If Grant Hill gets injured again, Mike Miller can fill in perfectly, but without Miller they would have to change a few things. Jamal Crawford can play PG, SG, and SF. So that could be a realistic solution.
Why Chicago wouldn't do it:
Jerry Krause loves Jamal Crawford... absolutly loves him. But he has to realize here that he shouldn't abuse Crawford's talent by keeping him in Chicago. Also, the chance that that draft pick might be LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony, or a player that is more valuable than Mike Miller.
Is theyre anything I missed out?
Nothing that I can find
This trade should happen and I think it will

The Bulls would never do that deal and I seriously, seriously doubt any deal like this will happen.

why?
only bad thing that would happen to the Bulls would be that they would miss out on a chance to get Lebron.... oh... oh yea... ok i think i got your point there, but still....
aight fine, switch the draft pick to marcus fizer and there... i dont see why this is so ludicrous to you....

Where did you read the Bulls were willing to give up their draft pick?

If I was a betting man ( and I am )
I would say that our 2003 pick ( unless it is top 2 - IE James or Millic ) will be dealt in a package on draft day
Last thing that Chi needs is another rook that will take 2 - 3 years to find his feet
You can take that to the bank.. or you can put it in your pipe and smoke it

Don't know much about Milic, but Carmelo Anthony appears to be the real deal. I have to conjecture that if the Bulls had an opportunity to draft Nba ready Carmelo with the third pick they would.

Who says Caramello is NBA ready ?
After one decent frosh year?
He may be a player ..one day but then again it will take time for James and Millic to develop as well ( if at all )

Actually, I'd be shocked if Milicic didn't produce as a rookie. Keep in mind, he's not just holding his own profesionally in Europe (which is impressive enough, for a 17 year old)... he's also having some VERY dominant games.
If I was a GM (wouldn't that be fun?), I'd be willing to risk my job, going against the public-consensus... and take Darko #1.

I'd say hes NBA ready. Not that he wont go through the regular rookie rickety ride (at times)... but, he definitely is ready to contribute at the next level.

Yup
7 footer with range, quicks, hands, athleticism, and attitude (a good attitude)
Or a self described King james?
I go with Darko every time.
I REALLY hope Chicago ends up with the #2 pick and Darko is available.
This is Euro Lebron... without the hype, the expectation or the ego!

FJ, even on draft day, we can't trade our #1 pick unless we get another #1 pick in return, because of our obligation to Houston due to the Bryce Drew trade. We don't know if we will have to give our 2004 #1 to Houston, so we can't trade our 2003 #1, unless we get another #1 pick to replace it.

Darko and the cat from Greece aren't going to be eligible for this years draft. International players have to be 18 to be eligible. They will be in next years draft.
