Nash indeed more important to Phoenix than Lenard to Denver, but not significantly at all.
Nash is a key role player slash borderline all star.
Giving him the MVP would be the biggest insult to this prestigous trophy.
How insulting would that be to a guy like John Stockton, who was really on the greatest. Stockton was a superstar for years, but never won MVP. How the hell can someone give it to Nash.
