Re: So who wants a 23 year old 7 foot big men??
Kwame should goto Atlanta if they can't sign one of the top 3 big man in this FA class. Mike Woodson does a good job of working with troubled players and might be able to get him to play a little more to his potential. The guy needs a lot of minutes to grow. I don't see Washington offering him any type of deal this offseason.

I agree. He's not a flop in my opinion. He is just in a situation in WAS where he doesn't get along with the organisation. That's mainly his fault due to his attitude but he will be a good starting big man for a team without stars. If he gets 30-35 minutes a game and can stay healthy, he could end up with 17/10/2 and that's not a flop imo.

100% agree. I don't think he'll ever live up to being a #1 pick. But damn man, he's still a 7 foot big man who is very athletic. Can't be much worse than Jason Collier or Peja Drobnja, IMO.

What he needs is some trust in him. The only way I see him becoming better is playing time. I don't think he will be effective with a new team where he is just the 3rd or 4th option. Atlanta (with Bogut?) would be a great fit for him. That would be one of the better frontlines in the east...

Re: So who wants a 23 year old 7 foot big men??
He's clearly done in Washington, and he clearly will have several suitors. I look for him to be traded, maybe for a couple of good role players or for a player and a pick. The asking price for him may climb higher than seems likely today, as people focus more on the potential he showed last year.
Fundamentally, other franchises will need to make their best guess about whether he's a guy who'll be a head case wherever he goes (e.g., Leon Smith), or a guy who blooms and puts his all into it only when things are going well (e.g.,VC and Sprewell).
I don't think he'll pan out as either a star or a bust. I would guess that the convergence of his talent level and inconsistencies, once he starts getting real playing time, will be at about 14 ppg and 8 rpg for peak performance. Some nights he'll go for 25/15, and others for 9/5.

No way Charlotte takes a chance on him. Its a waste of money. And we don't need his attitude.

Sadly, if Charlotte took Kwame he would be the best person on their team (at least offensively).

Re: So who wants a 23 year old 7 foot big men??
I think Seattle should make a run at him. Nate McMillan is good at developing young players. The Sonics looks like a team Kwame can develop his career without too much pressure (One of Kwame's issue is dealing with pressure). The Sonics have a solid frontcourt players in Collision and Evans. but, they're more of a banger type of players. Kwame will add a little bit of finesse to the Sonics' frontcourt. Sonics frontcourt lineup is also not too deep. He's definitely a better option than Fortson, Potapenko, R. Swift, and possibly James (if he's recent playoff play is a fluke). Beside, Potapenko and James might be gone this summer. Sonics will have a chance to sign either Stromile or Kwame this summer. And I prefer Kwame ahead of Stromile. I think Stromile is a poor man Kemp.

I see the Kings going for a 7 footer this offseason, Brad Miller is most effetive at PF, we need a banger and a low post presence.
