I voted for Kobe, because I think he's really raised his game this year, even moreso than T-Mac, Kidd and Garnett.

MVP is not for the best player in the league but for the player most valuable to his teams success.
I voted for Duncan because with him the Spurs are a contender, without him the Spurs would probably have around 5 wins, at least without Kobe the Lakers would have Shaq leading them to a respectable record.
