Not only is it horrible for a PG (it's actually last among players playing significant minutes, and only Larry Hughes - a SG playing PG is even close), Francis AST/TO ratio actually is below average for a SG. ESPN.com rates him 19th among SG (out of 31 qualified) in AST/TO ratio. There's a reason why Houston's on the fast track to miss the playoffs - their PG is a poor distributor for a SG, their SG (Mobley) is 27th of 31 in AST/TO at his position, and their third guard (Moochie) is 34th as a PG in AST/TO. Their backcourt rotation of Francis, Mobley, and Norris has a cumulative AST/TO of 1.53 - that's absolutely terrible for the team's supposed distributors.
