Good, they never should've let him go. He was big in the playoffs for them.

Yeah, if NVE can go to Dallas and play limited minutes and still have that sweet shot he'll be a nice pickup. Stackhouse like.

Yeah, just what the Mavs need, another sub 40% shooter. No Thanks.

O NOO!!!!!! That would be horrible, the lakers need him more than Dallas. For god sakes they have Jason Terry AND Dyrell Armstrong on their team, they definatly do not need him, screw that!!!

I have watched every Maverick game for the last 8 years. Don't even attempt to tell me what Nick Van Excel can and can not do. It's people like you that probably watched a couple of playoff games where NVE just happened to be hot that have this delusion that he is something he is not. Sorry but I have watched way more games where Nick hurt the Mavs than ones where he helped them. And that was 3 years ago when he was better then he is today.

It's hilarious listening to other teams fans telling me how great NVE was for Dallas when I watched every single game he played for them.

I am pretty sure that ThaRippa is quite like myself where we watched NVE play w/ the Nuggets. NVE could be a liability if Dallas can't coach him. If you limit his minutes and regulate his game he can do what Stack did. But maybe he's toast and past his game. Dallas could use NVE over Armstrong though just my opinion.

I would pick armstrong over NVE just because he plays D more or at least the 60+ games I saw last year of mavs proved he plays D

Good point. Terry is the main offensive PG while Arm plays D.

But who will Dallas get to take over Fin's role aside from Stackhouse.

Re: Mavs Trying To Sign Nick Van Exel Again.......

Nick is like many offensive players in the NBA... When they are on they are red hot but when they are off its ugly. Its easier to remeber the times when he was hot but he ran cold more often than not.
