Larry and Lebron. It almost sounds like a bad TV show. But yeah, they'll be the best. Though in 5 years, I think it could very easily be Anderson and Bron that are the Cavs two main stars.

Whoever Lebron is with will be the best duo, so I am going with LBJ and Hughes. James is going to be too good, and Hughes has gotten better each season little by little. Yao and Tmac will be an excellent duo, probably 2nd to James and Hughes.

I agree....whoever pairs up with LeBron will be instant contenders...even if it is only a sub par player. I highly doubt that it will still be Hughes tho, but I could be wrong. LeBron will just be too good not to be considered for this vote. You can pair up LeBron with Big Z and that beats out a lot of other duos already...imagine what he could have done with Shaq or Duncan or KG, jeez!

Things will be a lot different by then. If LeBron and Amare are the players they should be by that time, then it won't take much for them to be paired with someone good to form the best duo.

Jefferson and Green is too irresistable, in 5-7 years if their games have developed into All-Star status, Bill Russel and Sam Jones of the 2010's??, Boston needs to breed defence to bring back the golden days of the 60's and 80's. If this happens, watch out NBA.
But Yao and Tmac both locked down for at least 5 years, their bound to bring success back to Houston. Houston vs Phoenix wat a spectacle that will be in the playoffs for years to come....

i vote for lebron/whoever. doesn't matter who is next to him, he will be killing the league in his prime. i would've said kobe+odom but at age 32 i don't know how his game will translate...

Did you really include Kobe & Odom as an option? What, exactly did they show last year that would lead anyone to think that they will even be a functional duo, let alone the best duo in the league?
As for an answer... Lebron and whoever's the second best player on his team, provided Ferry isn't a moron as a GM.

lol You don't think Amare and Marion will be? They both very young and talented. And the other chooses suck. LeBron and Hughes? Livingston and Brand? In a clips uniform? Yao and..........just...its Yao!
The only other duo is Kobe and Odom. But Phils contract is only 3 years. Now Phil is a great coach, but hes no miracle worker.
