I always thought Pierce belong to the McGrady/Kobe conversation back in 2002. But as most said, he lost motivation, a bit of quickness and just stagnated and he fell off the radar.
But a motivated Pierce is a top 10 player and if he can lead the young Celtics, who are supposed to be 2-3 seasons away from being a playoff contender due to their youth movement, to the playoffs he is a legitimate MVP candidate. Its just good to see him back to his old form, hopefully he continues... and it'd be interesting if Ainge still contemplates to trading him.
