Re: Report Cards are in: Grade the Referees.
Theyve been horrible. In the game against Minnesota, the Lakers got no call in almost the entire second half! And last night against the Sixers Allen Iverson had more FT than the entire Laker team.

i think that's because of the triangle though. i remember phil jackson saying something like the referees don't understand it so they don't get the rewards.

D-. Mainly it's because they're not consistent..one ref's idea of a foul is something another doesn't even consider.

Re: Report Cards are in: Grade the Referees.
I won't put a grade on the officiating, and it is a difficult job if you've ever attempted it. But, those who think one ref interprets a rule differently than the other. Just consider those same rules get different interpretations by different fans as well. One wants travels called, one doesn't. Can't win and not everyone will be happy with any suggestions on making the officiating better. Bottom line, good or bad - your team should be able to win the game despite your opinion on bad calls/non calls.

Re: Report Cards are in: Grade the Referees.
I'm not going to grade it because there's no letter to describe how bad the officiating has been so far this season. There's a foul called on almost every possession. I think atrocious would be the best way to describe it.
