Don't get too carried away. The Warriors have played a shockingly easy schedule. Unless I'm mistaken they've won a total of one game so far this season against a team with a winning record.
Davis is shooting an abysmal 34% and has less than a point per field goal attempt, which is simply horrible.

Re: Baron Davis = OVERATED
Have always been a fan of Davis, he probably hasnt met a shot he doesnt like but that comes with the package. If the team is winning why worry about stats. He gets everyone else involved plenty. Me personally the top 3 points in the league are Nash, Kidd and Davis

Re: Baron Davis = OVERATED
Arenas is kind of like Davis in a lot of ways, except Davis is a better playmaker IMO. I would take Arenas just because Davis is always hurt, but when Bdiddy is healthy he can play with any PG in the league and that includes Steve Nash and Jason Kidd. Bdiddy is an amazing player. He was the best PG in the league a few years back, well for the first half of the season.

Re: Baron Davis = OVERATED
Look at the Warriors before and after they acquired Davis. He's not the best PG in the game, but if you want to be a contender you absolutely need someone to run the show for you.If you want to play uptempo basketball like Golden State does then there how many other guys can you get your hands upon.PHX isn't going to trade Nash and the Nets aren't going to give you Kidd.

Re: Baron Davis = OVERATED
Baron Davis is second only to Steve Nash (and probably also Kidd, though he has gone down a bit) in the entire NBA when it comes to playmaking and getting teammates involved. I'll take that from a player who's only real downside is his shot selection. Baron Davis can shoot pretty decently, he just mostly takes very tough shots and too many threes. Much like Tracy McGrady, actually, except McGrady tends to hit them.

Re: Baron Davis = OVERATED
Haven't seen too many warrior games with Davis. They don't appear on national TV often.
Can't judge.
But his shooting % is really quite low for a PG. As long as Warrior is winning, he is doing something right.
Tough loss to Pistons last night though. I was counting on them to upset Pistons, thinking that the loss to Suns can light up the fire in them. lol
