All have been hailed the next great player from Europe sometime in their careers. All of them have seen nothing but the bench. Do you see any of these players ever having an All Star career? How about starting material? Will any of them ever become as good as Nowitzki, or did GMs just make a mistake drafting them off of the hype that Dirk created? There are a couple more international players that were compared to Dirk but still haven't panned out.

Theres tons that have been compared to him, but Im curious about the 3 I listed. Each year we hear tons of hype on the next big great Euro, but we really haven't seen any that have met the hype.

You can add Martynas Adricevickus(sp.) the 7-4 guy the Cavs drafted. He's got Dirk like skills supposedly.

Wang Zhizhi and Vladimir Radmanovic, but at lest Vlad is not a scrub like these other guys.

The thing with Dirk is, he was already a legend in international play before he came over, wasn't he? Some of these guys who get the title of the next Dirk, don't even get playing time on the teams they were playing on overseas.

You can have all the ability in the world, but if you don't have the will to use them, then it's useless.
