Keith Van Horn or Robert Horry?
Who would you rather have coming off the bench for your team? Please consider both the regular season and playoffs. Thanks.

Re: Keith Van Horn or Robert Horry?
Van Horn was more talented than Horry. But for now, I take Horry because he's healthier and a lot stronger.

Re: Keith Van Horn or Robert Horry?
I don't know, this is a tough question Horry seems to drift too much in the regualar season now a days and his impact is not that great. I would choose Horry if I was on a contender because we all know what he can do in the playoffs, but if your not a playoff bound team i think Van Horn will help you more on your quest to the post season. van horn is better in the regular season but seems to choke in the playoffs. I guess i would take Horry because of the rings.

Horry!
you can say youd choose keith van horn because he shows up sometimes in the regular season. Then again horry shows up on the defensive end year round.

Re: Keith Van Horn or Robert Horry?
Definitely Horry. Despite someone who might show up and say I'm living in the year 2000, I think Horry is simply the better bench player. Horry gives you solid defense while Van Horn gives you offense. Horry gives you offense when you need it, but you can't count on Van Horn to show up when the team needs it most. Both guys tend to shoot outside more than anything. Kieth hasn't really had the chance to prove himself on Dallas because he missed so many playoff games last year, but we got to see what Horry does best. He doesn't just hit the wide open three. He gets you that rebound when you need one. He gets you a stop when you need it. He is the ultimate team guy that every team would kill to have coming off their bench. Van Horn is a floater. He's been on several teams, but never met expectations on any of them. Now he's on Dallas, and I must say he actually does pretty well for them. But he's still a soft player. If I had to choose between the two, I'd say I'd take the guy that has an absolute proven record as a winner in the NBA. Horry has made a legacy of a career off of clutch play. One might say that's "just hitting open three pointers" or whatever...I don't see anyone else doing it like he does.
San Antonio is a +8 when Horry is on the court.
Dallas is a -7 with Van Horn on the court, with their defense taking nearly all of the hit.

Ouch, game set match, I didn't realize that. I just picked KVH 'cuz I felt he was the better player overall, but I suppose Big Shot Bob coming off the bench would be a better fit for any contender.
