Why don't we have dunking as a sport for the Olympics? If diving is in it, I don't see why dunking can't be in it, too.

Because it's just a sub sport of a major sport. I know diving is a part of swimming but you can really do your fancy twists while trying to swim for speed.

Dunking would be a great event but I would do it like the high jump. You could start the hoop at say 10' 8" and keep moving it up 1.5" or 2" every round.

I don't want to see dunking. The Slam Dunk contest is one of the most slow-paced events in sports history.
