MVP - Kobe
If the lakers make the playoffs... I think Kobe is the MVP,no doubt.
They go in a 5 game winning streak... he goes out for 2 games, they lose both games... comes back, they win 3 straight (with him averaging 47, 9, 5)... I honestly believe if Kobe keeps this up, he'll win MVP

Re: MVP - Kobe
Kobe is having a great season.
Those who say otherwise are either:
1) Haters
2) Dumbarses.

If the lakers crack top 4 in the nba I have no objections to this.

You can find similar instances of teams who go on a losing streak without their best player, only to go on a winning streak when he gets back.

Re: MVP - Kobe
MVPs don't play on .500 teams. Chauncey Billups is the obvious MVP so far. If Kobe gets the Lakers to play .650 ball he has a chance at it.

If the Lakers win 50... I have no objection. He's playing phenomenally. The last adulterer to carry his team like this was the GOAT himself.

We lost 3 games in a row before Kobe was suspended.
Kobe is the best player in the NBA, and he's a MVP candidate if LA finishes with a good record.

Actually the last person to do that was probably Shaq. Or Malone, or any other married MVP in the NBA in the past few years.

Re: MVP - Kobe
If the Lakers get 48 or more Kobe should win it with no major qualms. Otherwise, I'd give it to that slow white guy down in Phoenix.
